The thalia.org Humor Archives

The "thalia humor list" has been running since late 1995, with jokes, one-liners, and odd looks at humanity's fallacies. The older material has been sorted into vague categories, while the newer material has been retained in it's chronological time of release. Enjoy your browsing!

Some of the humor material in the sections below reflects the reality of the society we live in (and some urban legends, if they're funny enough), and therefore is not suitable for the delicate of disposition or age. If you are not of legal age to be reading these sites, then please go away now.

late 1995 - September 1997

FAVORITES; contains some of all the below groups from items put out in the first years of the list which have, for some odd reason, appealed to your hosts...

COMEDIANS; jokes with attributions to people who do it for a living; i.e. Dave Barry, Seinfeld, Dan Quayle, etc.

MEDIEVAL; jokes with references to the medieval age, or referential to any period before Modern so-called-English.

COMPUTERS; for some odd reason, we seem to have collected a lot of humor about these funny little boxes...

POLITICAL; these folks seem to give humorists a lot of material, so we shall present some...

CRUDE OR OVERTLY SEXUAL; please do not enter unless you are an adult and have little to no ability to be offended.

CHRISTMAS, and other holiday follies; something about this time of the year sponsors some of the oddest things...

MISCELLANEOUS; jokes that fall into none, or more than one of the above categories...

A special group: The "If I were an Evil Overlord" series...

and, since doing it that way would make the files get WAY too large for easy downloading, this is how it looks on a regular basis... all of the groups mixed together. Consider yourself warned yet again... :)
